This Privacy Policy explains what personal information MarkR Management Inc. collects when you use the 3A Toolkit course at 3atoolkit.com/course, how we use it, and who we share it with. We aim to collect as little as possible.
Information we collect
- Account information. To sign you in, we store your mobile phone number, a unique account identifier, and sign-in timestamps. We do not require a name or password. Your account is identified by your mobile number, which is separate from any email address you give Paddle when you pay.
- Subscription information. When you purchase, we store your subscription status and identifiers that link your account to your payment record, so we know your access is active. We also store the email address you give Paddle at checkout. We use it for receipts, to answer you if you contact support, and to reach you about your access. It is not a way to sign in, and we do not use it for marketing. If you would rather we did not keep it, email privacy@3atoolkit.com and we will remove it.
- Payment information. Your card and billing details are collected and stored by Paddle.com, the merchant of record for your purchase, which also handles billing and applicable taxes. We do not receive or store your full card number.
- Content you write. Your reflections, notes, bookmarks, and progress are stored only on your own device in your browser. They are not sent to or stored by us.
- Technical logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and requests, to operate and secure the site.
How we use your information
We use your information to sign you in, provide and secure your access, manage your subscription, respond to support requests, and meet legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers we use
- Supabase stores your account record and subscription status.
- Twilio sends the one-time sign-in codes by text and processes your phone number for that purpose.
- Paddle.com is the merchant of record for your purchase. It processes payments, stores billing and card data, and calculates and remits any applicable taxes.
- Vercel hosts the website and keeps standard server logs.
Each provider processes information under its own privacy terms. These providers may store or process data outside your province or country.
Data retention
We keep your account and subscription records while your account is active and for as long as needed to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. You can ask us to delete your account as described below.
Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, including Canada's PIPEDA and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act, you may ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Because your reflections and notes are stored only on your device, you can clear them at any time using the Clear buttons in the course or your browser settings. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including sign-in by one-time code and encrypted connections. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children and young people
The Adult and Thriving with ADHD courses are intended for adults. The Youth edition is written for teenagers and young adults, and the Junior edition is written for younger children to work through together with a parent or guardian.
We designed the courses to collect as little as possible from anyone, including young people. Signing in uses a mobile phone number and a texted code, with no name or password required. For a younger child, a parent or guardian sets up and supervises access, usually with the family's phone number or a family or school code, and by doing so consents to that child using the course. A child's reflections, notes, and answers are stored only on the device they are using and are never sent to or stored by us.
We do not knowingly collect more personal information from a child than is needed to sign in and provide access, we do not sell any personal information, and we do not use it for advertising. If you are a parent, guardian, or school and want to review or delete the information tied to a young person's account, contact us at privacy@3atoolkit.com and we will help.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time and will change the effective date when we do.
